The combination of teams to be called “THE CAERNARFON AND DISTRICT POOL LEAGUE”

The main objectives of the Pool League are to further the art of playing “POOL” in the district and provide closer contact for players interested in the game

Any Pool Team from any Hotel, Inn or Club shall be eligible to apply for membership to the League, providing such Teams are situated no more than 8 (Driving Miles) from Caernarfon.
4.
The League’s Executive Committee shall consist of not less than five members of League Clubs, plus the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary
5.
In the event of any Committee members missing three consecutive meetings without just reason, then that member will be automatically dismissed from the Committee.
6.
The League’s Executive Committee shall manage the affairs of the League and shall have the power to deal with any matters not covered by the existing rules.
7.
All officers of the League, including the Committee Members will be entitled to “ONE VOTE”, with the Chairman allowed a casting vote
8.
At the “ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING” the League’s Executive Committee will be elected by the vote of all Member Clubs present. At the meeting all teams shall have “TWO VOTES ONLY”

The Caernarfon and District Pool League shall be members of the “WELSH POOL ASSOCIATION”

No team shall have its table more than Eight Miles from Caernarfon Castle Square.

The Caernarfon and District Pool League shall not consist of more than “48 TEAMS”

a) All teams that are members of the Caernarfon and District Pool League WILL pay their Annual Subscription Membership Fee on the evening of the Annual General Meeting or within a period of 7 days thereafter where a penalty of an extra £10 will be incurred.
b) As members of the League, every Team will pay £25 on top of their Membership Fee, and receive 50 Raffle Books to sell (in aid of League funds) any books over 25 that are sold, the money from that, which could amount to £25 will go to the Team’s own funds.
c) All new teams, will pay a levy of “Double” the annual subscriptions, to become members of the League, which may be used to pay for any unpaid fines incurred in that first season. If a team has no outstanding fines, and have conducted themselves well, then the money will pay the following Season’s subscriptions. However, money is not refundable on League withdrawal.
